As usual, ROOTS invites a different music collective to come together for a collaborative celebration at Time is the New Space. The idea for ROOTS is to incorporate a ‘pre-party’ segment in which music collectives can elaborate on their origins through panel talks, documentary screenings, or live acts that they feel reflect their identity.
This time, in an 80’s Italo-Disco themed celebration, ROOTS went outside Dutch borders, bringing a collective all the way from Valtellina, Italy, FALSXXI!
Before the FALSXXI’s DJs bring their curated selection of disco funky house tracks, the event will have:
• Italian street food
• Live performance by 2Spaghi, a quartet brought together by @fra_luise
• “Napoli Futura” documentary screening
Panel talks with @falsxxi, @fra_luise, and Spartaco Menesatti, founder of @valtellina_okkulta
