Our space is built on mutual respect and values. Upon entering Time is the new space you commit to upholding the guidelines set in this code of conduct. We trust in your capacity to exhibit respect, enhance our community and adhere to the following behavioral principles: showing courtesy, avoiding assumptions, practicing politeness and spatial awareness, nurturing an open and non-judgmental attitude and honoring privacy.

• Make sure to ask for consent: “May I buy you a drink?”, “May I dance with you?”, etc. 
• We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, verbal and/or physical violence, assault, intimidation and bullying.
• If you experience or notice any form of harassment, please reach out to a staff member. They are here to support you!
• We ask everyone to follow the code of conduct to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere. When the rules are not followed, we reserve the right to refuse entry, give warnings, remove you from the premises, ban future entry and/or report to the authorities
• You can always email our trust person: trust@timeisthenew.space if you experienced any situation within our venue that makes you uncomfortable. 

House Rules

We want everyone to feel comfortable and inspired here. A few things to keep in mind while you’re here:

• By entering, you agree to follow our team’s guidance. Bag checks or personal searches may be requested at the door. If you’re uncomfortable being searched by a specific staff member, let us know—we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
• We may refuse entry to anyone who is visibly intoxicated or behaving disruptively. 
• Trade and possession of weapons (or sharp objects) or drugs is not allowed. If weapons or drugs are found, you will be refused entry. We are obligated to contact the authorities if necessary.
• Please don’t bring your own drinks and notify the staff of anything that is required for medical reasons.
• The minimum age required to enter is 18. In case of doubt, identification can be requested. Without it, we unfortunately can’t let you in.
• You are not guaranteed entry when attending with a group of over 4 people – due to the influence groups can have on the atmosphere. 
• Some events may prioritize marginalized groups as part of creating a safer space. Think of it not as a rule, but to align expectations and hold space intentionally.
• Smoking indoors isn’t allowed – step outside if you need a break.
• Alcohol is not sold to anyone under 18 years.
• Please don’t touch the artworks—let’s keep the space safe for both people and pieces.
• For the safety of visitors and staff we use camera surveillance. 
• Some lighting effects used may affect visitors with a history of epilepsy or strokes. Please take care -Time is the new space can’t take responsibility for any harm that might result.
• Be mindful with your phone’s flash.
• The wardrobe area is unsupervised – keep an eye on your things. We can’t take responsibility for lost items.
