On the 25th of January we open a new solo exhibition by Roos Janssen. This exhibition will be on show during Rotterdam Art Week!
“Noticing the city float by in windows and water.
Recently I’ve been feeling very overstimulated. The city bustles, everyone seems to be in a rush and we feel pressure to perform. Working with my hands and searching for inspiring images around me are ways to relax and detach. Which I then bend into an installation that brings peace.
I invite you to come by and immerse yourself in my new installation.”
Roos Janssen is a visual artist based in Rotterdam. She’s inspired by reflections around her and wanders around to find peace in these liquid surroundings. She collects videos of these reflective surfaces and creates installations with analog materials which break the light in different ways.
