It's been a while since our superstars took over the space, but we're back this Friday to show you what we've got! For our Team Time Takeover, we have a special night planned for you, including DJ sets from yours truly, games hosted by our game master, and perhaps some karaoke in the mix. We're also planning a clothing swap in the early hours, so dig out those pieces you no longer wear and bring them along. One person's forgotten find might be another's new favorite fit. We're keeping it free and open for this one, so come as you are and just make sure you bring a bag of clothes to trade. The more the merrier. See you on the dance floor.

On June 26, we join forces with NSRT for a special club night w/ their artist in focus Chaerin who presents an improvisation based live performance alongside Alberta Balsam. Also on the bill, the iconic Naone and local talent awyn1000. Trained as a classical pianist in Seoul, Chaerin has recently shifted towards a more electronic, synth-driven sound, exploring this evolution through the raw and experimental energy of Rotterdam. Together with Alberta Balsam, a longstanding figure in Rotterdam’s music scene, they will perform a live set unfolding in real time. 

 awyn1000 sets the tone for the night, while Naone closes down the night. Also hailing from Seoul, Naone brings her fluid club sound rooted in ’90s and early-2000s rave culture, ranging from dark progressive house, dubbed-out tech house, psychedelic techno, acid and hypnotic, groove-driven club music.

 Looking forward to this all-star line up and yet another collaboration with North Sea Round Town!

It's that time again: Bound45 returns to Time is the new space. On the shortest night of the year, we'll drift into summer solace to the sound of deep grooves, sun-soaked house and soulful curveballs, courtesy of A.L.P. and Bobby Martin. Our journey in sound continues. C u there!

Time Waves is here again to fill your night with dark synth music that will make you want to dance and stay all night. For this edition, we invited some young talent that you might have seen popping up already if you have been paying attention. But we think haven't gotten enough of the spotlight they deserve, but then again, we prefer darkness. To start with, Tan, whose talent can make him shine in every slot, will definitely be able to get you in the mood, so come early. After Tan, Nina will spin the decks with her fantastic song selection. To twist it up even more, we asked the one and only Betonkust to play a live set that will make you want to never listen to anything else than EBM for the rest of your life. We asked the legend Milium to finish it off and send you home begging for more.

Exactly one year after that 35°C day, weave celebrates its 1st birthday. No holding back this time, stretching it all the way to sunrise. Come for the familiar, stay for the unexpected. Drift, dance or daze, we're excited to witness the floor dissolve into haze.

Parallel Pressure brings raw hypnotic techno and hardgroove to Time is the new space. Artists from Rotterdam, Dortmund, and Leipzig, with sound forged in rooms like Tresor West and Distillery alongside the local Rotterdam scene, gather on a single floor for one night. The lineup explores hardgroove and raw hypnotic techno from multiple angles; deep and mind-bending grooves through to driving and noisy energy. Each set is built around layering, tension, and percussion craft. On the sound level: driving grooves, organic textures, hypnotic fragments, and controlled distortion. Subgenres and their intricate variations, approached through distinct tools and instincts.

Soil Trax Sundays kicks off its first edition at Time is the new space. Join Thanos Hana, Seb H, Stevie & Gabalyn for an afternoon rooted in sound. With records from local labels up for sale and food to keep you going.

Jazz belongs in dark rooms, on loud systems, making bodies move. Two Five One continues its mission of bringing jazz back to the dance floor, celebrating the energy, rhythm, and freedom that characterized it in the first place. For the second edition, we invited artists moving between live performance and club culture, blurring the line between concert and dance floor. The night will slowly build from head bopping into full movement. The evening opens with Taléa setting the tone through a jazz-focused selection, before Bonsai takes over with a live performance built for the club environment. From there, Bob Roche and Kim Josefine guide the room deeper into the night with rhythm-driven selections. Come listen. Come dance. Come get lost in the groove.

As the days lengthen and the air turns warm again, the frogs find their way back. This night, the shelter is yours to build. Gather, share, leap a little early. the rest will follow. June 5th. Infinite Pleasure & Ferré present: KODE EP Release Stepping into the spotlight with this debut release, Ferré reveals his studio vision for the first time. On Friday, May 8th, Rotterdam’s Ays returns to Time is the New Space, inviting Manchester-based Yadava for a special 5-hour back-to-back set that will take you on an uplifting journey through all kinds of music like disco, jazz-funk, Afro, and house.

KLASTR is a queer-forward night built on contrast and experimentation, featuring a face-to-face format instead of the traditional back-to-back. For the second edition, KLASTR brings together a mix of Rotterdam-based artists - prekeris, DelFuturo, DJ Shahmaran & XAKALELE (Animistic Beliefs) - alongside guests from Porto’s Face Off collective - Paiva and Phaser. Expect a boundary-pushing selection shifting between bass, breaks, IDM, leftfield club and beyond.

On May 1st, OG Karin takes the floor for an all-night long set of rhythmic, percussive, and groove-driven music, from 21:00 to 03:00. Based in Rotterdam, with roots from the Dominican Republic and Indonesia. Passionate about and dedicated to music both as a DJ and on the dancefloor. OG Karin unites sounds from different genres and finds commonality in rhythmic, percussive-led tracks with raw sounds, infused with some groove and sensuality. During her sets, she weaves between intensity and patience, keeping the dancefloor on edge with tranquil interludes and experimental diversions, whilst maintaining the dancefloor drive. Her energy behind the decks is calm yet reckless, giving the crowd sets that are filthy, powerful, and playful, and will make even the shiest dancers move, whether it’s at closing or warm up.

On April 11, we're throwing it all the way back with a full night of 90s eurodance classics. It's going to be nostalgia on the dance floor and hands in the air type of energy. After the chaos of Kingsnight, we slow it down the right way… dub style. Tjotjo Soundsystem will be rolling through with their setup, plus a lineup of friends old and new. We invite you to celebrate the launch of Radio Tornado Records with us, a new step in our musical journey that started three years ago! The evening kicks off at 8:00 PM with drinks and a brief introduction. At 9:30 PM, Vesuvio Vortex will perform live, featuring tracks from their debut EP Danza Nel Vulcano as well as new material. Starting at 11:00 PM, Rotterdam DJs Droom & DD, Sierk, and Seutek take over, and the night shifts into full club mode. During the release night, you can order the EP on vinyl via QR code. After shutting it down at Poing’s closing, Pimmah is back. One part Kimmah, one part Pims — both our favourite all nighter’s are reuniting to bring Pimmah back to the club for a proper marathon session. Kimmah just landed back from Vietnam, and they’re going all in: 9 hours b2b, extended opening hours, no holding back. If you were there last time, you already know. If you weren’t… this is your chance.

We’ve been longing for another Italo night — luckily one is on the horizon. On March 13th we lean into the darker side of disco — raw, electronic and built for the floor. Berlin’s Karolina BNV meets local selectors DD & Droom, with DJ Last Wish stepping in somewhere along the way. What he’ll bring is anyone’s guess, but surprises are guaranteed.

Buckle your seatbelts cause with The Low G Court, we’re going all gas no brakes with Hassan and Enrico of Bumpy Ride crew from Belgium! Bumpy Ride is a Brussel based collective and label focused on Underground Garage. Their crew is composed of Hassan Raphael, HAF and Enrico Dragoni. Their aim is to bring you the best of the underground US and UK garage, through their vinyl releases, radio shows on Bruzz and parties.

The final night of February is calling — and Malou & Lyrae are joining forces. Malou brings the fun: synth-heavy floor fillers, electrifying electro, punchy house, rolling basslines and bright melodies with the occasional cheeky left turn. Unpredictable, vibrant, made to move. Lyrae takes us deeper: hypnotic rhythms, subtle tension and eerie melodies drifting through the edges of house & progressive — guiding the floor into a dreamlike flow suspended between movement and mood. Amsterdam and Berlin based record label Paesaggi Records land to Time is the New Space, this time presentiing Tokyo-born, Berlin based Saeko Killy's live act as first time in NL, Amsterdam-based Pittori Locali's show drenched in cinematic echoes and DJ Sets by Rotterdam's own NM______ and label's founders Gropina & Wutu.

Known for digging deep into 90's classics and creating a unmatachable vibe on the dancefloor, we can always count on him to play the most legendary set. On Friday 5 December, Tessanne, LOTUS and Monomania will bring a little bit of everything to the table. No rigid genres, just pure vibes. From disco and latin/afro house to booty trance and jungle, this night has everything to offer. Join us and as always – come early, stay late!

Imagine Twin Peaks meeting Cabaret. Kinky, dark, absurd. A night of burlesque, performances and tarot at TINTS. Headlining, the incredible Bona Dawn. Bona Dawn is a pioneering burlesque artist from Vilnius, Lithuania by being the first classical burlesque performer in her country. Her passion and inspiration for burlesque comes from 14 years of working in the world of jazz and swing dancing, creating performances and teaching dance in Lithuania and Europe. Bona Dawn has created dance and burlesque performances at a number of jazz dance festivals, cabarets and interdisciplinary format shows here in Lithuania. Coming from long time relationship with jazz and Charleston dances her performances are dazzling tributes to the Golden Jazz Era, capturing the essence of jazz dance, vintage charm and glamour. All the earnings from the party will go to reimbursing the artists' travels to Rotterdam and the rest to Pro-Palestine funds.

Moving Closer grew from a shared love for leftfield electronic music and bringing people together. For their event at Time is the New Space they've invited Sub Basics over from the UK for a 5hr set, which will be his Dutch debut! Sub Basics (UK) embodies the Moving Closer sound by effortlessly moving back and forth between groovy dub techno and sub-heavy dubstep, playing almost exclusively his very own productions.

This Saturday, The Low G Court is back for another night of mischief and they’ve invited Beau Wanzer from the USA to join them. They’ll be transforming Time is the new space into a sweaty and bloody dungeon full of curses and bats!
